Early 1900’s Hocking Valley corn sheller purchased at the 1904 Worlds Fair in St. Louis, MO according to the family that owned the sheller which was purchased by their great grandfather. This is the 2-hole version of the corn sheller. You can see all the original paintings on the sheller. I have carefully restored this item but left the original pinstriping and logo covered with a clear coat for protection. The logo on the hand crank side reads “Improved Hocking Valley” at the top and “L.M. Rumsey Mfg. Co. St. Louis, MO” on the bottom. Restored to keep the original look yet give it a new life. The hank crank turns and works as expected.
This item is available for pick up only in Oxford, Mississippi since it is very heavy. We are located about 70 miles south of Memphis, TN. No shipping, local pickup only. No returns.
